At MyAfrica Farm we host weddings beneath the mountain, with our very own in-house events company to plan and manage your day to perfection. The Alpaca Café gives you the perfect lawn for celebrating, while the farm opens up into wide open spaces beneath the trees in the bush.

MyAfrica Farm gives you open lawns, natural veld, mountain views and the character of a working farm. Our team works closely with you on the layout, styling, décor, flowers, food, drinks, entertainment and the flow of the day — from intimate ceremonies beneath open skies to long-table garden receptions and evenings under the stars.

The Table Setting
- Rectangular tables (2,4 m × 1,2 m), chairs and table linen in beige or white
- Cotton napkins in white, black or beige
- Cutlery, crockery and standard glassware, plus champagne and red wine glasses
- Salt and pepper pots and wine coolers

Our luxury Nyati tent is complimentary to the bride on the night before the wedding, and to the bride and groom on the night of the wedding.

Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and other dietary requirements are accommodated when arranged in advance — send them through with your final guest numbers.
Stay a little
Close the farm off for the weekend
Where exclusive-use accommodation applies, the property is booked as one unit rather than as individual rooms — a private sanctuary for your wedding weekend. The full rate stands even if fewer rooms are occupied.
- R 15 000 per evening — indicative full-property rate. The four rooms sleep 10.
- Check-in from 14:00, with assisted check-in until 15:30 unless otherwise arranged.
- Optional breakfast at R 285 per person: juice, freshly baked croissants, yoghurt and muesli, seasonal fruit, and eggs, bacon and toast.
The bridal couple allocates rooms, coordinates guests and settles the accommodation charges on the wedding account.

Fees to consider
The payments, in writing
Date reservation fee
R 5 000
Non-refundable, payable immediately on confirmation of availability. It secures your date and stops further bookings for it. Date changes are subject to availability and written approval.
Booking payment
R 60 000
Payable within one calendar month of reserving your date.
Breakage deposit
R 4 000
Refundable, required before the wedding. The balance is refunded within 14 working days after a venue inspection and reconciliation of any charges.
Cancellations, date changes & guest numbers
All cancellations or postponement requests must be submitted in writing to the Veld & Vine events team. The date reservation fee and booking payment are non-refundable, subject to the applicable cancellation provisions and South African consumer protection legislation. Postponements are considered according to venue availability, supplier commitments and any additional costs.
Your confirmed guest list — adults, children, dietary requirements and supplier meals — must reach us no later than 30 days before the wedding. Once confirmed, reductions in attendance do not automatically qualify for refunds, and additional guests must be approved in advance.
